The cottage lies in the vale between the Quantock and Blackdown Hills both Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty with excellent walking cycling and horse riding potential. It is also centrally located for visiting both coastlines. To the north you will find Minehead and Weston-Super-Mare and to the south the popular towns of Seaton Lyme Regis and Exmouth. If you fancy a day out then there is much to see and do around the area such as a visit to one of the many National Trust properties and gardens nearby Oake Manor Golf Club The West Somerset Steam Railway Somerset County Cricket ground and Taunton Racecourse are all close by. Refurbished in 2012 the accommodation comprises TWO bedrooms: situated upstairs 1 twin with TV and en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Situated downstairs 1 zip-and-link double which can be made into a twin on request with TV and en-suite shower room with WC. Separate WC. Lounge: large with huge feature fireplace with woodburner (logs included) exposed beams TV/DVD Sky sports and movies package iPod dock and Wi-fi. Kitchen/diner: galley style and well-equipped with dishwasher electric oven and hob fridge/freezer microwave and french doors that open out onto the garden. Outside: enclosed courtyard area with hot tub garden furniture and BBQ. Separate lawn area. Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Amenities: ample parking. Bath has some of Britain’s most majestic Georgian architecture, as well as the famous Roman Baths (not mention great shopping). Then there’s Wells, England’s smallest city. Wandering around the cathedral close, with its unspoilt medieval lanes is like taking a step back in time. And for a real sense of mystery, there’s Glastonbury (home of the world-famous music festival), supposedly the site of King Arthur’s mythical Avalon. All await you on one of our Somerset cottage holidays. The county has more than its fair share of beach resorts too. The Grand Pier at Weston-Super-Mare is superb, as is the wide beach here, while Minehead and Burnham-on-Sea offer a choice of traditional seaside pleasures. Meanwhile, for nature lovers there’s the wild landscape of Exmoor, and the Mendip and Quantock Hills, both Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Cheddar Gorge is truly stunning. Great for real Cheddar cheese too!
